Super Bowl Sunday... Jeremiah is 4 weeks old!

Well folks, it's Super Bowl Sunday... I'm not really sure which team I want to win - guess I don't care as much since the Steelers aren't playing. Interesting that this year's teams include two black coaches (first time a black coach has made it to the Super Bowl) and both coaches are Christians. I saw an interview this morning on the NFL Network with Herm Edwards interviewing both coaches. They mentioned their Christian faith -- speaking of which -- did anyone watch the live interviews of the Hall of Fame inductees yesterday? No? Well, I did... The best was probably Michael Irvin, former WR for the Dallas Cowboys talking about his faith -- and thanking my man T.D. Jakes down there in Dallas for being his spiritual advisor. He really wrapped his faith into much of his 30 minute Q&A. Bet it didn't make Sports Center last night, but oh well.

Now let's talk about how cute my kid is? :) He's been smiling since the day he was born and I tried to capture that a little bit this morning in bed at the 4-week mark! We'll find out how much he weighs tomorrow. I won't be there -- I'm flying out to California in the morning and then over to Denver Tuesday evening before coming back to DC on Thursday. I put off meetings last quarter for work since I didn't want to risk being away for Jeremiah's birth. My guess is that he weighs in at 11lbs, 10ozs tomorrow (he weighed in at 11-5 last Wednesday). Remember, he weighed 10-11 at birth, dropped to 9-5 the first week and then started gaining.
