Jesslyn's Favorite Words

"Hi"
"Bye"
"Shoes" (She has a pair of red shoes that she LOVES... sadly, they're kinda too small for her now.)
"Baby" (Anything she can hold, rock, and pat on the back is a 'baby' from baby dolls, to stuffed seahorses, to Brobee...)
"Mommy" (Actually, it's usually, "MOMMY!!!!!")
"Da-eee" (Still working on that 2nd & 3rd 'd')
"Poppy" (She loves her Grandpa!)
"Titty" (err.... 'kitty')
"Ball"
"Dis" (if she's got it...)
"Dat" (if she doesn't....)
"Poo-poo!" (Usually accompanied by some bum patting...)
"Bum bum" (yeah...)
"Diaper"
"Cheese" (Well, she said it once, when prompted. Probably doesn't really count.)

Still, not bad for a 13.5 month old. Jeremiah definitely wasn't there at 13 months. Oh, and she signs "more," shakes her head "yes" and "no" and dances when you chant, "Go, Kookie! Go! Go! Go, Kookie!" So yeah. She's doing well. ;)

  1. Girls always develop much faster than boys so this doesn't surprise me. Jakob's friend Mikayla is six and by the time she was 4 or 5(it may have been eariler than that), I believe it was, she was saying stuff in Spanish(I guess from watching Dora) and understanding it. She was also singing full songs by I believe the age of 2 or 3.
