About 45 minutes after birth. Our midwife, birth assistant and student nurse-midwife went downstairs to write up some paperwork while we got some family time. So this was roughly... 2:15 a.m. Jeremiah had woken up from a bad dream, and insisted on sleeping in "Mommy's bed!" So he ran in, jumped into bed on Jeremy's side, pulled the covers up and proceeded to try to fall asleep, totally oblivious to the new baby. :) Jeremy asked him, "Umm... Jeremiah? Did you see the new baby??" and his eyes popped right open! Got over that bad dream fairly quickly after that. :)
During his newborn exam. I think he had just been measured at this point. Lotta baby! :)
Booty shot! :) They were checking his back and bum for.... something! I think he looks bigger here than in person. At least his bum doesn't look that big during diaper changes!
Almost done with his exam! Just needed to put some drops in his eyes, get him dressed, and done he was!
Daddy got to be the first to dress him! He looks so tiny when his Daddy holds him. :)
The next morning. Jeremiah had not forgotten about his new "Baby Judah" and just loves to hold him! He's such a proud big brother.
