So, we're in Mexico right now, sittin' on a computer in a lil' cafe that supposedly has the best margaritas in Cabo! Still waiting for it to show up, so we'll see if they're right.
We're having a great time so far, getting some shopping in, Jeremy got quite a bit of sun (from walking to and from our car.... that's it...) and Jeremiah's being a good boy. He actually did quite well on the plane, only crying when he was hungry or dirty. The first leg of the trip was terrible, in that we had to squeeze into two seats, with someone next to us at the window. Not fun. The second flight, though, we had the whole row to ourselves, and it made it sooo much easier... Hopefully we're as lucky on the way back.
Okay, so everywhere we go, there are people asking us if we want to buy a timeshare. NO WE DON'T! One thing being in Mexico has taught is how to be rude, in that the only way to get people to leave you alone is to blow them off. So blow them off we do. I hate being rude, but y'know what, I'm on vacation! I don't want to be bothered with talk of "timeshare" or "a great deal on silver!" and NO, I don't want to buy a hat.... Grrr....
Anyways, it's been a nice trip thus far. Jeremy stuck Jeremiah's feet in the Pacific, and boy did he scream! :-) I was watching from our seats about 70 feet back, and all I saw was Jeremy dunk him, and then pull him up quickly and hold him against his chest... And then I heard, "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Apparently, Jeremiah didn't like that to much. :-) Aww.... it took quite a few minutes to calm him down, but we were finally successful, and decided we'd try the pool from now on, which is a little bit warmer. :-) The only other time I've heard him scream that way was when Jeremy was feeding him this morning, and sneezed really loud... must have scared Jeremiah, because all of a sudden, he wasn't so fond of eating, and more fond of screaming! And scream he did! But he's okay now.
And that's about it so far. I've been trying to post pics via cell phone, but I can never get the network to authenicate my request... So they'll have to wait until we get back, I guess.
Tomorrow, we head for our final destination--Sheraton Hacienda del Mar in Cabo. We'll head back to the states on Saturday, with Sunday to recover, and then back to the daily grind on Monday. Talk to you all soon!
Oh, and if you would, please pray for Katharine and Lilly (and I guess Laurence to--might as well!) They found out last week that Lilly is breech, which makes having a home birth a little more difficult. Best case scenario, she flips in time and they can proceed as planned. Worst case scenario, they end up with a c-section. :-( So please pray that she flips and that Mom and baby make it though the whole experience happy and healthy (and that Laurence can be the wonderful supportive husband he's been thus far, even though their plans may be changing...) Thanks!

I've just caught up on the posts that have appeared since before we went our own tropical adventure.

Sounds like you're having a fine time down there. Have fun! (I too dipped in the Pacific for the first time recently and at first felt like screaming myself. Not quite bath water at this time of year, but very nice once you take the plunge.)
