The lighting of the Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Center will take place on November 28th!
They just got the tree today (well, late last night), and are getting ready to hoist it on up! Woo-hoo! It's from Connecticut, and this year, the in the way of eco-friendliness, they cut it down with handsaws, and will be lighting it with LED lights vs. traditional incandescents.
Of course, our tree will be up long before that one will be. And it will be pretty.
I think I've figured out the solution to the tree problem here... But I don't know how well it will work yet, so we'll let ya know how that works out after Thanksgiving. :-)
