Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve at my Uncle Nelson's house--Jeremiah was more interested in the bows than anything else! He carefully took each and every one out of the bag.... and then proceeded to stomp on them.

Playing with my cousins Sofia (almost 9) and Julia (5).

"No, Mom, I'm not trying to get the presents.... see how angelic I look??" Apparently, digital cameras do not work well when cold (probably has something to do with the LCD display... it warmed up pretty quickly, though!)

Oh, and he was really trying to get the ornaments that had fallen off the tree. Don't worry, it wasn't glass... one of those fancy unbreakable ones (I guess more appropriately dubbed "shatterproof", but you get the idea.)

We got some good news over the weekend....!

We spent our day opening gifts with Jeremiah (not so much fun... he was afraid to tear the paper... :-) eating a nice big meal, and opening more gifts! Jeremy's parents are in town right now, so we had a full house, especially since my family was able to join us as well (they should be in Portugal right now, but couldn't catch their flight due to bad weather in Boston last week.)

I wonder if anyone can figure it out.....!

The rest of the week should be more relaxed, as the crazy shopping days are over, and leftovers should keep everyone full for at least another day or two.

We're not telling anyone yet, but the suspense is killing me!!
