PARTY! PIZZA PARTY!

Yesterday, we went to CiCi's for lunch, and all Jeremiah wanted to do was eat the toppings off his pizza. Silly boy!

ughh no fair. I see the commercial all the time for CiCi's and I want to throw something at the T.V because we don't have them here.

And we don't have: Sonic, Arby's (unless we feel like driving an hour), Dairy Queen, or any other of those awesome places. We got stuck with boring Wendy's, McDonald's, Buger King, PizzaHut or Papa Johns.

    -waves fist- no fair. ;(

There's that cute little guy! Wish we could have joined you, though I must confess I've never heard of CiCi's.

Ali, you're not missing that much. Don't get me wrong, it's good pizza, but nothing extraordinary. Just find a Pizza Hut with a lunch buffet and you'll have a similar experience(I know there's at least one in North Providence that does it, cuz I've eaten there. Although, they don't have CiCi's cinnamon buns... oh man, those are the best! I like them wayyyyy better than Cinnabon [and you don't feel as guilty after eating one.] :)

My parents were actually considering opening a CiCi's last year (they're all franchised,) but it requires, like, $250k to start, so it's not really worth it unless you can get that kind of loan (no point in getting investers who will just eat all your profits.) They're looking to expand into your area, though, so it's only a matter of time!

Could always come visit us here in VA, and we'll take ya--our treat. ;)

Hmnn, well that brightened my spirits. Lol. Well, I guess it wa smy fault then: falling for the old false advertising by making it look so irresistable.

Yum, Cinnamon Rolls--those are quite lovely indeed. Nice and warm and melt in your mouth--I just gained 5 pounds thinking about it. :D!

Well, well. If I ever go to VA I will take you up on that but, I don't see a trip like that happening anytime soon. Not only can't we afford the time (we are already using time for our honeymoon/vacation begining of May. Yeah, it got moved forward!) but the expenses either(we are up and down, more down thean up, with finances). So yeah--maybe like...someday down the road? I would love too and I think it would be fun for us all. :)

You can do DC on the cheap, no problem. Can even stay downtown near the National Zoo for $80/night. It's a bit of a drive, but not necessary to fly, though it's only about $100 roundtrip outta Boston. Maybe someday. :)

I know what ya mean about the advertising. When I was in college in MO, they had Sonic's, which is pretty good fast food (ya drive up and order from your parking spot, and someone brings you your food--sometimes on roller skates!) They have commercials for them all the time, but the nearest one is over 100 miles away. I don't know why they torment us so...

Lol, yeah. I guess its not that expensive. I don't know, it gets tight sometimes though. Maybe someday. Now, I am like all excited now about this. Lmao. We should plan something maybe for next year or the year after--Jermiah would be a bit closer to Jakob's age and maturity level by then(not saying Jakob acts like a 2 or 3 year old but, you know what I mean).

Yeah, I have been to a Sonic's. Me and Chris went down to AZ many a year ago to his cousins wedding and oh my my it was the best 'fast food' I have ever eaten. It was not even like fast food at all, it was like just geting food that's fast at a decent burger place. I feel in love with it immediately and man, do I wish they would think big and head down here--they would make so much money because, BK and Micky-D's(McDonald's) is so horrible. Even Wendy's which is the best out of all of them still doesnt compare to Sonic. I would buy a franchise and totally build it down in Dartmouth--I'd be roling in the cash flow but, meh--it just is not feesible and way too stessful.

Eh well, I bet someone will be smart and do it one of these days. Its bound to happen sooner or later.

Yeah, eventually, all these franchises pop up around town. Sonic is awesome, though. I love their slushy drinks, like watermelon lemonade or something.

Count your lucky stars, though--we only have 4 or 5 tops Dunkin Donuts around here--nearest one is at least a 15 minute drive. Starbucks galore (the one up the street from us is a drive through, which is the best!) but very few DD's. That's probably a good thing, though.
