Anyways, Jesslyn is 5 months now! Hard to believe, really... Part of me feels like she's always been around, and it's like, "What, she's only been here 5 months!" The other part feels like, "really... it's only been 5 months?" Either way, it's all good.
Every day, she's becoming more and more fun! She's mastered rolling over, both from front to back and back to front. And I think crawling is within her grasp, as she can scoot herself all over the place! No elevated place is safe, anymore... It's only a matter of time before she'll be chasing Jeremiah around the house, trying to steal his socks (as she was trying to do earlier today.)
Teething wise, we're on the cusp, I think. She's not been napping very well lately, waking up after only 30-45 minutes. But, if I give her some Tylenol, or Motrin, then a 30 minute naps turns into two hours! Go figure. So while nothing's actually shown up yet, I think they're coming... and she's not afraid to let us know.
Along those lines, we had an unusual experience at church today. We dropped the kiddies off at their respective rooms--Jeremiah in the "Navigators" and Jesslyn in the nursery. She was asleep, as she usually is when we drop her off, since it's during her nap time. The last few weeks, that's how she's stayed the whole time, barely, if ever, making a peep. Today, though, about halfway through the service, I saw her number flash up on the LED screen. :( So I got up to go see what was wrong (half expecting it to have been a mistake... there's no way she woke up and was then so upset they had to page us, after all!) Well, I was wrong... She was crying... And no one could get her to stop. It was the saddest cry I've seen... that lower lip of hers just quivered so much, and the tears, and the sobs... But as soon as she saw Mommy, she started calming down. Once I was holding her, she calmed down, except for a few angry cries, as if to say, "What were you thinking, leaving me here with all these strangers, while I was asleep! Are you crazy!?" Sorry, sweetie... Mommy thought you'd sleep the whole time. Next time, I'll give ya a swig of Tylenol before we leave. :)
That is all, for now! Some pictures?
Where have we see this dress before.....

Yayyyyyyyyyyyy, you're back! :D
