Yay! In a little over a week, we'll be settling in our new home in Tyson's Corner. Good--I'm getting sick of this place. Since hurting my back (which is feeling much better, btw) I haven't done a whole lot to keep this place tidy, so it's really bugging me. The Boyz (James n' Stephin) are coming over today to pack us all up--they're determined to do it all before tomorrow so my Mom doesn't come and start earning money they could have been making! :-) We'll see...
Jeremy's busy busy busy this week. So busy, he forgot to say bye to me this morning... :-( He just walked out the door on his cell phone, locked up and went on his way.
Oh, but then he came back in and I thought to myself, "Awww... he came back to say goodbye!".
Nope.
He came back to ask if we had an umbrella. And then left again. >:-( Oh well. Se la vie...
So I'm still home this week, until at least Thursday when I see an Orthapedic Surgeon. We'll see what he says about me going back to work then.
I'm a little irked with my OB, though. I've been calling them for a week trying to get them to give me a Dr's note for my boss, and they haven't yet. Either they don't call me back, or the Dr's not in, or the office is closed (they told me to call back Monday, but they were closed? Grrrr!) so on and so forth. I'm surprised I haven't been fired yet (it would have been their fault!) My boss is a good guy, but sheesh... Gotta give him something!
I'm starting to think that next time we get preggers, I'm gonna hire a midwife and do a home delivery--takes all the hassle outta dr's, and long office waits, and stupid hospitals that strap you up with all sorts of monitors and such... We'll see. That just means I'll hafta find a good general practitioner for those other moments. I didn't really care for the old GP that Jeremy had, but y'know what? If I had a problem, they could see me that day! Not, NEXT WEEK!
