In case you haven't noticed, I've replaced our anniversary ticker with a pregnancy ticker (it's actually been up on "Our Registry Information" post in the sidebar... I'm disappointed no one found it...) Not that I'm not proud of our marriage, but we know when our anniversary is, and it's function was really as a place holder, for when a preggers ticker could take it's place.
And now it has! And if you still haven't figured it out, yes, Jeremy & I are expecting #2 around September 1st. Unless she/he (hoping for a "she!") is timely like Jeremiah, most likely it'll be an August birth. But ya never know... :)
This pregnancy has been the worst one so far--had really bad nausea starting around 6 weeks (right around the time I wrapped up my sore throat/cold/flu thing from after Christmas,) and it's just now really beginning to taper off. I still have little appetite, and a very strong sense of smell (much to Jeremy's dismay... I kick him out of bed if he hasn't used mouthwash--freshly brushed teeth isn't good enough! lol)
Other than that, all is well! Just waiting to get my energy back so I can do more than just chase Jeremiah around the house all day (cleaning the house has been done at bare minimum. Just not that important right now. So if we've been meaning to invite ya over, hopefully soon!) Jeremiah, so far, has been really great around other babies, and hasn't gotten jealous of me holding one yet, so that's a good sign. I ordered a life-like baby doll for him, so we can practice taking care of a baby, and "gentle touch" so it won't be quite such a shock when he wakes up one morning this summer and find he's no longer an only child.
Oh, and to those people who think we rushed #2, this was part of the plan. We didn't want them to be too far apart--my brother Jay and I are barely a year apart, and we were best friends growing up. That's what we're hoping for for Jeremiah and "Jess Jr." (they'll be about 21 mos apart.) Personally, I was hoping they'd be a little closer together, but I'm glad nonetheless. And I think Jeremiah will make a great big brother! :)
In other news, it's a freezing rainy morning, and Jeremy is working from home today. I'm sure my brother Stephin is home as well. Jeremiah is still stuffed up, but it's not runny really anymore, so I think he's on the road to recovery. Hopefully by Monday he'll be as good as gold, so we can get together with a friend and her baby (we want to spend as much time with them as possible in addition to having the doll. Can't hurt, right? Plus, Mommies need to hang out with other Mommies! Keeps us sane.) And that's that. :)

Wow Jess! Congratulations!!
