I think I went a little nuts...

Yeah...

Not all of this was me. I'd say.... maybe... 1/3? was given to us as gifts.

It was all a good deal, though! With the exception of a pack of socks, and maybe one or two other items, everything was purchased on sale, on clearance, or on consignment. Some of the CUTEST outfits I got for just a couple of bucks at various baby sales.

I thought we needed more bibs, but after sorting and counting them up, I think we're probably okay after all... We've got 24 "good" bibs, which should be PLENTY (a few I bought at Dani's Duds had a lot of stains on them... but they were behind a 'good' one, so I couldn't tell. So much for their ultra high inspection standards! I'm done with them... Not worth paying the $5 to get in there only to not be guaranteed quality used items. At least the outfits were nice--some were brand new! Maybe I'll just find 10 random items to consign, price them outrageously high and then collect them on Sunday when they don't sell. Then again, I don't think I'll be going to the next sale anyways--Jess Jr may only be a couple weeks old by then!)

One thing I definitely went overboard on were the wearable blankets. We love(d) them with Jeremiah, especially since he would always kick out of his swaddles (we only did that a couple of times... he slept better on his belly,) and would "scoot" to the corner of his crib, usually leaving his blanket behind. I think I bought 2-3 in each size that I could find (each was only a couple of bucks... brand new, they're $15-$20!)

Anyways, yeah, the only thing I need to find now is Jeremiah's newborn stuff--there's a lot of onesies in there, and pajamas that we could use. I hope it's around here... I haven't seen it since we moved (along with all his extra changing pad covers...)

Yup, so that's that. Time to go throw it all in the wash! :)

Wow!! That's a lot of clothes. Jess Jr will be set for about 2 maybe 3 months with all that. They grow so fast..it's crazy. I remember I went nutts the first time I bought clothes for Jakob and nearly half of it went to no use because he grew out of it before I could even have him wear it. Now, I know to not go so nuts because he grows like a weed with miracle grow these days.

Did you get any fall clothes..it looks like all summer clothes from the picture? Septmeber is only warm for the first 2 weeks, if that and then its back to chilly weather. Got to love NE weather.
    -eyes roll-

If you need any fall clothes let me know..I wanted to send a gift anyway so why not clothes? Lol. Did you email me your address yet? =)????

Well, not all of those clothes are newborn clothes. Actually, we bought very little newborn (maybe one or two things...) Even 0-3 months is almost pointless--Jeremiah was in 3-6 by the time he was a month old.

There's a lot of warmer things in there, too. I bought some cardigans, and a couple of long sleeved onesies/shirts/sweaters. I didn't go too nuts on that, though, because I don't know what size she'll be in when the cold weather hits (no NE weather here! It'll be at least in the 80's throughout Sept, 60's and 70's throughout October. We don't see <60's until November, usually.)

If you want to get clothes, 6-9 month PJ's or girlie onesies is all we really haven't gotten. If you wanted to do something matching for Jeremiah and "Jess Jr", "I'm the Big Brother"/"I'm the Little Sister" shirts would be cute.

Like I said in my email, though, don't feel like you have to! We've got lots of stuff. :)
