Well... what can I say. Not a happy camper. Had our 39 week visit today. Went well enough. Nothing new to report, unfortunately. Birthcare doesn't do "exams" on a weekly basis, just at the 36 and 40 week visits. I did opt for one today, since contractions have been no stranger in our household, just never develop into anything further. The result of said exam: nothing new. Absolutely no change from 36 weeks. Our midwife tried to be encouraging, though... :) She said, "Things are definitely in motion, and with how things went last time, it's all going to happen at once, so don't worry about it," etc, etc...
Anyways, I shouldn't have asked for anything extra. The fact that nothing has happened in three weeks does more to frustrate me than encourage me, that's for sure. Monday will be here soon, and if Jess Jr. hasn't come by then, well, I doubt I'll be the happiest camper on the block.

Monday is Labor Day..ironic is it not? Wouldn't that be something if Jes Jr. was born on Labor day? How cool would that be?

Yup, that would be something if she came on Monday--I always thought it was cool our due date was "Labor Day" and up until 6 or so weeks ago, still thought it would be cool. By now, though, hoping we go early is kinda a moot point.
