Today has been an off day for us. The monitor was turned down, unbeknownst to me, so when I woke up at 9, I figured something was up. Sure enough, Jeremiah was up, blabbing to himself in his crib.
After some breakfast (which he eats mostly in the buff, since he makes such a mess,) we went outside for a few minutes. He ran around in his pajama bottoms and a diaper, and that's it (it was in the 80's by 10 a.m.) I was finally able to get him dressed, and we hung out in the play room 'til naptime (noon.)
Naptime rolls around, so I changed him and left his shorts off, since they tend to wick away moisture from his diaper if I don't. Gave him his bottle, put him in his crib, and left, with him still sitting there, like he always does.
After about 30 minutes, I didn't hear him playing anymore, so I went in to put a blanket on him. "Hmm..." I thought, "did he push his shirt up? He looks naked..." Sure enough, there on the floor in front of the crib was his diaper, along with all the blankets that was in there with him. He was bare butt, sound asleep. And let me tell you--it's not easy putting a diaper on a sleeping baby, especially when their on their stomach. But it also wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. :) Needless to say, I think it's about time we got the whole potty training thing started--he enjoys taking off his diaper way too much!
Sure was cute, though. :)

ReplyDeleteHa, I did think of it, but was more concerned about him peeing in his crib before I had a chance to re-diaper him. :) Bare bum in bed pics will have to wait for another day.
