So today, I was minding my own business, typing up an email or two, when I looked up to see Jeremiah catching his balance, and then "what appeared to be" taking his first step! He then fell, as he tried to take the 2nd, but hey, gotta start somewhere, right?
Of course, none of this happened because Jeremy wasn't there to see it, and according to the rule...
"If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to see it, did it really happen?"
or in this case,
"If Jeremiah takes his first steps, and Jeremy's not there to see it (or no camera there to tape it), did it really happen?"
Obviously, the answer has to be "no". :-)
But I know better. ;-)
Or, another possibility might be that Jeremy actually HAS already been walking for a couple weeks, but he's been careful to do so when no one is watching. What do you think?
