Make MY voice heard!

I recently emailed Starbucks about coming out with a Sugar-Free version of their Chai Tea Lattes. I LOVE Iced Chai's--it's my drink! I get it everytime! And while it's not the worst drink on the menu, it's basically a sugary syrup and milk, and that's it.

I knew they had no plans for a sugar free version, but I also know that Starbucks is one of those companies who listen to their customers, whether that feedback be good or bad. This is the email I received:

Hello Jessica,

Thanks so much for contacting us regarding our Chai Tea Lattes.
Currently there are no plans of releasing a Sugar Free version in the near future. However, the more requests we recieve, the more likely it will happen.

Your feedback is very important to us, so we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I want to assure you that I've passed on your comments to the appropriate people in our company for their attention.

If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to call our Customer Relations department at (800) 23-LATTE. Or, email us from
www.starbucks.com/customer/.

Thank you again for contacting Starbucks, we really appreciate it.

Best Regards,

Nicole P.

So I am asking you, faithful readers of the Wilcox blog, to email Starbucks, and let your voice be heard! If there's something you want to see, or if you had a pleasant/unpleasant experience, tell them! And while you're at it, if you could throw in there a request for Sugar Free Chai, I'd appreciate it. :-)

A link to their feedback page is included in the title. Thanks!

Why not make it yourself at home? They have Chai flavored teas at Stop and Shop and Christmas Tree Shop. Just boil the water, drop the bag in and add ice or even sugar free coffee flavored ice cream? I am sure its nothing compared to Starbucks but, it might be tasty, never know unless you give it a whirl. Me and Chris make all our iced coffees at home--saves money and time as well. Just an idea. Also, you could always look it up online for recipes on iced coffees..that way you can be sure to get a really good home-made one. Or..buy the mix itself from online and make it at home. =)

Not the same. Believe me, I've tried. Even buying the Starbucks brand of Chai isn't as good as the real thing--there's always a watery-ness and 'something missing', no matter how ya make it. I dunno what it is, maybe liquid crack??? Seriously, it's gotta be something like that because no other Chai is as good as Starbucks, just like there's no sweet tea like Chik-fil-a's (I would NEVER put that much sugar in my own iced tea, but I'll let someone else... :-)

Alas... I will just have to cut the calories somewhere else, I suppose. At least they're using 2% milk now, instead of whole, as their "regular".
