Well, "Jess Jr" is officially back at Reston now. YAY! We just called to check up on her, and she's doing great. The nurse wanted to make sure we knew that her transfer notes said she wasn't taking her bottle very well, but she just gave her one, and she gulped it right down just fine. Hmmm... big surprise... <~sarcasm. Seriously, though, we both thought it was kinda odd that she was drinking her bottle just fine on Sunday (took it both from the nurse and from ME!) and then all of a sudden Sunday night, she didn't want it anymore, and wouldn't calm down enough to drink it. Grrr... Oh well, it's all good. I'm sure the feeding tube will come out later today or tomorrow, since she's got some "gentler" care now, and maybe she'll even get to nurse!
Anyways, it's nice to have her back close by. Visiting will be so much easier now, and far less stressful. Only good news from here on out, we're pretty sure! I'm feeling much better about everything, and can honestly say I'm feeling pretty peaceful today. Still hate pumping, but it's something I can do for my baby, so it's worth the annoyance.
We'll have more news and pics up later, after we go visit (waiting for Grandpa to come watch Jeremiah...)
Oh, and stay tuned for the "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT" As soon as she's coming home, we'll let you know what her name is (she officially has one! Had to do the birth certificate today, so we finally settled...)
