Not the pic we were hoping to post...
Well, things don't always work out as planned, that's for sure. Jess Jr [still working on a name] entered the world at 9:56 am this morning. She weighed in at 11 Lbs 10 Oz, 22 in long, 15.5 in head. She had some trouble breathing when she was born, so we transferred her to Reston Hospital Center. Now it looks like her heart needs a little help, too, but she's already showing improvement. We're transferring to Fairfax Hospital now, so she can have round the clock cardiologist care. Most likely, she won't be home for a few days, possibly a week. We're praying for a miracle and hope you will too. We'd love to have her back ASAP! Anyways, That's what's going on. More to come, hopefully good news.

Congrats! Welcome to the world Jess Jr! My thoughts are with Jess Jr and I hope she gets through her heart ordeal. Take care and be well. <33333
ReplyDeletePS: She looks like an Emily to me.
Not sure why but I looked at her face and said to myself 'that looks like an Emily'. -shrug- =)
Congratulations Jeremy and Jess on your beautiful baby girl. We'll be hoping for a speedy recovery so you can all be back home asap. Jess, I hope that you're feeling good after the birth.
ReplyDeleteWe're praying for healing and can't wait to meet her!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Violet or Samantha. No idea where those names came from, but that's what I see when I look at that cute face! I can't wait to meet her and give you a big much deserved hug, Jess. Congratulations to all the Willcoxes. Prayers coming your way for a VERY speedy recovery and an exciting homecoming!
